A1 Forklift TrainingA1 Forklift and Plant Training in Newtownabbey was formed through a partnership of qualified and experienced instructors, and train to a high standard as recognised by the Accrediting Bodies Forum. We are based in Avondale Business Park, Ballyclare and can provide training on our premises and on-site training packages are available. Our firm offers on-site courses on all forklifts, pallet trucks, work platforms, lifting equipment and manual handling, overhead gantry cranes, slinger/banksman, abrasive wheels. In addition to our on-site training programmes, we also provide Reach and Counterbalance forklift training at our Ballyclare training centre. Our centre places us in a prime location for customers from Greater Belfast/South Antrim area and is served by an excellent road and bus network for those from further afield. We carry out training on both counterbalance forklifts and Reach trucks at our ITSSAR accredited Ballyclare training centre. All courses will consist of three main elements, these being Pre-use checks, ensuring the safe operating condition of the machinery involved, theory lesson and test, covering the safe operation of the equipment and general awareness of workplace hazards and safety precautions. The course throughout will instil safe operating practices and will end in a practical test ensuring that the trainee has developed an understanding of the dangers and safe operating techniques involved. The cost of these courses is £80 per person, per day. Number of days is dependent on experience. Typical training is between 3-5 days max.
